This is my favorite hardware store. A bit out of my way but Super helpful people with nice mindset
We went in for an under the counter light bulb, the clerk was very helpful. When cashing out the guy was very pleasant. We always have a good experience there
I have been dealing with Rocky's Ace Hardware since I moved to Ma six years ago. On every occasion their service and products far outshines the big box stores. However we have been Stihl chainsaw users for years. Last year I purchased a Stihl MS211c from the East Longmeadow store. The saw has performed very well. When we purchased our second ms180 and the 211 the employee that handles the Stihls, his attitude was somewhat Condescending. However, this year the 211 was stalling after it heated up. So I brought the 211 back to Rockys East Longmeadow and encountered the same employee. This time I found myself immediately in an a verbal argument. The next morning I picked up the saw.
Great place for a lot of good stuff.
This is the way retail use to be. Friendly people who are helpful. Great selection of hardware items, they carry Craftsman, they are a sales and service center for Stihl.
Overall good experiences with helpful and pleasant staff. More recently had a bad experience with a cashier who had a terrible attitude and was very rude about not being able to use a certain coupon which is totally fine that I couldn't use it. However the interaction continued to decline. I smiled and apologized and was going to back to spend more to use the coupon however she wasn't interested in that and kept ringing. I could tell she was irritated so I decided to check out at this point. The card reader was, according to her, "taking too long" and she snatched my card vigorously to type it in while rolling her eyes. At this point I told her to have a lovely day and left with my purchase.
I'm not sure I'm in love with the whole snaking checkout line but maybe it will grow on me.
