Just leaving Bentley’s. It was the worst experience I have had in a long time. We waited for about 15 minutes for anyone to come over. When the bartender brought lunch menus over, they were tattered and dirty. I ordered the mango martini, and when it came it tasted like gasoline (I am a bartender and there is NO way it was made with all the ingredients listed). From the time we ordered, it took 45 minutes to get our food which were sandwiches. Clearly the girl was overwhelmed, although, the place wasn’t crazy busy. The overall feel was very dirty. There was actually a dead bug smashed against the wall where we were sitting. I bet it will still be there because it apparent no one cleans. I would never ever go there again. It’s clear the owners aren’t present and have pretty much stopped trying. Super disappointing for a lunch out with my husband, who never gets time off. Complete waste.
I couldn't give it a three but I can't give it a 2.5 I've gone to Bentley's multiple times and the past few years and each time it's gotten worse they're craft beer selection has slowly dissolved they had such a rich selection and no longer do ..there food varies some times is great and other times not so much they don't have the great staff they use to have they really made you feel welcomed.. tonight had to wait almost 45 minutes to get a beer after they had gotten beer wrong the first time around ..finished my food before I had a sip of my beer nor was I offered water while I waited for my drink had to go to the bar to finally get my beer barely saw our waitress and it wasn't a busy night ..sad to say Bentley's just isn't a place I will visit as much as I use to
Great bar food happy hour deals 4-6. Good find in East Longmeadow. Great selection of beer on tap. Standard food types on menu. The chicken wings with Buffalo side was good. Good sauce and plenty of Bleu Cheese. Only two celery sticks though. The barkeep was very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to trying other beers and apps.
I'm going to pull back a few stars from my original review. The chicken francaise was microwaved so essentially a $17 tv dinner. They still have a good beer selection but that's pretty common now. I really used to like this place. I'm just glad I didn't get to scallops.
