Rachel did an awesome job. I've never gotten so many compliments on my hair.
I cannot even give any stars. This is by far the worst hair experience I have ever had.
The owner, Jennifer, gave me a ragged and unevenly thinned out haircut which is extremely high maintenance. When I sat down I told her all I cared about was 1) easy manageability and 2) less frizz. She is well aware that, being disabled as I am, I am incapable of being upright long enough for more than brief minutes on my hair each day. I got the exact opposite. (I don't know if she was upset about the last haircut with her the previous year when I returned to pay someone else there to clear up all the split ends she'd missed.)
Clean and bright. Fair prices and good service.
This time she put down and insulted my hair the entire time, putting all the blame for how awful it was going to turn out on its texture and dryness. She told me when she'd pretty much finished cutting that it would require blow drying and straight ironing AT LEAST every other day in order to do what I wanted (an impossibility, given my disability, as she well knew). Her dialog during the course of the cut made me feel so horrible about the entire thing that I couldn't even bear to look at the results in the mirror before I left. My hair is now all ragged toward the bottom, keeps reverting to sticking out at odd angles and is frizzing far more. I am physically unable to spend all the time it'll take to hide those problems.
DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!
My appointment was at 10 am but when I walked in a bit before 10 no one approached me. I waited patiently until about 10 minutes later someone asked me if I had an appointment. I waited 40 minutes before I asked if I was still going to be getting my hair done. They apologized and finally started. I told them that I had to have my roots done but now I was pressed for time. So Mika put in the color and left me sitting there for an hour. My head started to get really itchy. I asked to just wash out my hair so I can go. She locked herself with the other lady in a room so I don’t hear them talking about me. It took over 2 and a half hours for her to finish up with me. No cut, no blow dry. So she charges me 75$, what? I asked her to give me some money back because she messed up my hair and only did the roots. She gave me 25$ back. I ran out. Had to go to another hairdresser to fix the damage. She left color in my hair. My hair was falling out.
